Starting over on the blog...

  • hey Groupies - I deleted everything from the past and starting over of sorts. I am hearing that some of you are having problems seeing things. So we'll see if this helps. let me know...

  • Must vary by pc. I can view it on my work laptop okay but still can't view on my home laptop or my blackberry. puzzling. . .

    Did you guys run this morning? Tougher than I am. Did order me something from Running Warehouse today to keep my neck warm on these kind of days.

  • Cindy, Jeri and I ran 5 here in Hannibal. We took it slow because it was slick. I had my cleats on and they worked well though. It was pretty running in the fresh snow at the park, although we almost losr Jeri over a ravine due to footing issues. ;) !!! Sounds like we are all in agreement about a shopping trip. Only Jean cant come because shes leaving for Florida. Angie

  • I am able to get on via Greta!s iPad. Don't know what,s up with my laptop. Was offed an early retirement incentive at adm this wk along with everyone else who is 57 or older. It,s voluntary so a big decision. Must decide by jan 31"

  • I can only get on the blog on my husband's laptop but not mine. So this is really strange. Thanks to Angie and Jeri for taking it easy with me yesterday and a big thanks to Angie who got me motivated. Really was a pretty run along river and through park. Loved it! And it was a little scary when the ravine tried to take Jeri. Cheryl-it is a concern if you don't take the early retirement that you could be laid off??? Jean and Dave were at spinclass today. Anyone else interested in joining us on Sundays at 9 am-Jason A. teaches the class. Karen-how are you doing? Anyone interested in going to Thyme Square for breakfast after running next Saturday-we could celebrate a birthday.

  • Cheryl, did you know this was coming? I heard that ADM was going to be cutting back. I remember that you were going to work for a couple more years - big decision to make.
    I saw Steph last week. She looks great! She was going to a job interview at Panera's.
    You probably all got Doug's email to let him know if you are doing the Illinois. We have until Jan 31 to sign up before another price increase.
    Thymes Square sounds good to me on Saturday. How old, Angie? You are about our age, right!!!!

  • I tired using Mozilla and was able to get in. Cheryl, it looks like you have a big decision to make in a short time. Wow. Last Sat. was a great run - beautiful route in spite of the ravine. Not too cold once we got going. This Sat. looks like it should be better and Thymes Square sounds good. In honor of Angie we can take a route through the parks that over look the river. I know she likes that! Saw The Artist Jean. I'll fill you in Sat. It is great! Jeri

  • I downloaded Google Chrome and was able to get in one time at least. Took my first spinning class tonight in about 6 months with Jason A. Felt good to do something as I've been slouching on running. Bought 5 passes for $25 on KHQA's Deals website. See you on Saturday.

  • Cheryl-I have been going to spinning on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening with Jason. Getting back into it and really enjoying it. running has been so-so this week. Ran 3 on treadmill and tried to do a little speedwork. Have you decided about retirement? I still can get on the blog only on my husband's computer. this is too bizarre.

  • I have never had trouble in the past getting on blog, but now can only access through my phone. What if we meet at thyme square and run from there at 8? Someone else can plan the actual route, maybe down maine or through historic area? Angie

  • I can only get on the blog thru my phone also. Still dealing with my jaw but plan on running tomorrow. I ran a couple times this week but feeling lazy still. I will see everyone in the morning at thyme square.
