What's the plan for tomorrow? Just looked at Doug Seeber's route. Not sure I can run 8 total just yet but would be willing to try or maybe cut the first portion down to 4. With the break I might be able to make it. I didn't sign up for the BTG training but have no problem doing so. It's kind of fun to see the big group. I have company in this week so probably will not be staying for coffee afterwards.
Meet at CYO for Insanity Fit Test at 6am, followed by weight circuit and cardio gym running workout. Over around 7 to 7:15ish. Then I’m sticking around a little longer lifting and cleaning (dusting/vacuuming, the place doesn’t clean itself you know). Then heading to Hy-Vee to run with the group at 8am for some miles, then back to run with the Bridge the Gap (BTG) running group at 9am at Hy-Vee 3 miles.
I would like to run at 8 somewhere. Would like to do at least 6. Am not signing up for btg training program. Im up for running with dougs group if thats what everyone else wants to do, i just dont want to wait til 9. If he has a route planned, we could tag along and turn around early or walk if necessary. Angie
I too my thinking about running at 8 am with Doug's route but I am not receiving emails from him. Cheryl could you forward it to me? Thanks. Not sure if I will make it since Kent and his friends have delayed their departure for ski trip due to blizzard conditions in Eastern Colorado. they were suppose to leave around 6:30 pm tonight and now are waiting until 4am so if I have to take him to catch his ride and am too tired I may pass on the run but am hoping to be there at 8 am. Mike-saw Nancy today at Dr. Wes'. She is so nice. How did you get so lucky???
Hey everyone. It's raining at my house. Hope it stops by morning. I see most are planning to run with Doug's group starting at 8 and if I read the map correctly, that group will do 5 and then more with the BTG group. Do I have that correct cuz it sounds like you won't be done by 9. I am trying to plan my 10 miles and would really like to be about done by 9 instead of just halfway. Is everyone planning on doing the 3 with the BTG group?
Cindy, I didn't get a chance to talk to you at work today so wondered if Kent's trip was affected by the snow. I guess the answer is yes. Hope it makes it ok. Jeri
I will not be able to run with everyone in the morning. I have to be in Barry by 9:30 and don't think I could get there in time if I run in Quincy!! Next weekend is the 5k in Hannibal, but I don't think it starts until 10. If that is the case, I would almost like to run a few miles before it and then finish up my mileage with the race. Anyone else up for a run in Hannibal next weekend?? I know I am thinking way too in advance at this point! Hope you all stay dry in the morning! Have a good weekend!
Cindy - if you want to run with the BTG group tomorrow, please go ahead. If you'd rather go at 8, I'll run with you. Just do what's best for you. If you do decide to go at 8, I promise I won't stand you up no matter how cold it is.
Cheryl-I am off of work today so I ran 7 miles this morning. Kent has been gone all week and is suppose to get home early Saturday morning. It was a tough 7 miles but glad to have it done. Was starting to get windy as I was finishing but as usual I was plenty warm and sweaty.
Any interest tomorrow from anyone wanting to join me and my group at 6:30am at the CYO for early cardio and strength workout? We will be done at 8am, so you can get extra miles in if you want before running at 9am at Hy-vee or just run from CYO at 8am.
I promise I will not kill you, but will push you a little out of your comfort zone. we are not doing a P90x workout tomorrow. The group likes my Saturday workout better than the P90X anyway.
I'm running from home tomorrow...that is assuming I'll brave the weather.I have 14 on my schedule and a paper to work on when I am finished. Hope to connect to everyone again soon. Jeri
