Just got back home from CO and am now off to Spfld to pick up Parker. Baby Chase has been in the hospital since Tuesday with pneumonia and will probably be there all weekend. Sure was difficult being away when I could have been helping them out. Post when and where for tomorrow as I'm going to see if Greta can watch Parker while I run in the am. Only got one run in while gone. . .
Having hamstring issues but am hoping to run 10 tomorrow. I am flexible about where. If we do the btg route I will probably start at 8 am and just keep going rather than going back to the store to start with the group since I am slower than the rest of you.
Sorry I had to bail this morning. Was feeling just fine until the 8.5 mark and then had terrible GI issues. Karen and Angie-you both looked strong and I feel bad that I talked you into doing 10 miles and I was the one who had to jump ship. My hamstring did fine so glad for that. Not sure what triggered the GI issues. Feeling ok now. Unlike the lady on Shut up and Run blog I will only use one word to sum up today's run-CRAP.
I'm hoping that this works since I haven't been able to get on the blog for a long time. I did my 9 miles today in Connecticut - weather was great. 50 degrees and no humidity. My run wasn't fast but it was really pretty along the Sound so I didn't care. I'm looking forward to running next weekend with everyone! Cindy, hope the GI issues get straightened out!!
If anyone is interested in running earlier on Saturday, I'm game. Madison has a track meet in Hannibal at 10:00 and she runs in the first event, so I can't be late. How many miles are we supposed to run anyway? I would probably need to leave Qcy by 9:15, unless anyone wanted to come to Hannibal and run. Post here and let me know. If not, I may come up to Qcy and do a few miles by myself early and meet up with you guys at the normal time to finish off the last half. Angie
Good lord Karen! Hope you get back on track and keep away from those illnesses. I'm planning to do the 10 tomorrow. Can go at any time. Let me know what works for the rest of you. Brian had us doing those South Park hill repeats last night. Cindy - Brian said he saw you at the park and wanted to ask you to join us. I couldn't find you when I left but saw your car. That's the only running I got in this week.
How about we do Doug's route, starting from Washington Perk at 8:00. Would this work for everyone? I ran into Kathy Genenbacher today and she might join us.
Just looked at the BTG route and it heads out 24th ST. Didn't bother to look at Doug's but I'll take my chances. I'm good with 8:00 at Washington Perk?
I would like to run at 8 am. I am fine with either route. Haven't seen doug's -could someone email it to me as I won't be able to keep up with you. cheryl-no hill repeats for me. I ran through south park and then to 24th and cherry and then back through Wilmar across Harrison at 22nd and then eventually back to 12th street and then back to south park. Angie and I ran Tuesday evening at 645 pm -it was still warm but a beautiful evening with all the trees in bloom. Karen-hope you get to feeling better.
If all goes well, I plan to join the Washington Perk group @ 6. They have a south loop for the first 10 ending back at the Perk and then will head up N 5th to Einhaus Lane, to Bottom Road, to Maiden Lane and back for 8. I am running 20 so will add 2 miles to the 2nd half if anyone wants to run 10 with me. That is assuming I am pack at Washington Perk by 8 to get started with everyone. Jeri

My last 4.5 did not go well either. Walked off and on the entire way. Super tired when finished. Glad you are feeling okay now Cindy.
