I should have just ran yesterday instead of hunting. I have been up at 4am two mornings now and no turkey. Glad to hear i have a room still! I can't wait to see everyone and catch up. I know exactly what church in Hull Jeri is talking about and will meet everyone there Friday morning! I have continued to slack in the area of training, so this could be an interesting run! I hope everyone has a good week. We will miss you Angie!
Karen Buckwalter suggests the resaurant in the following link. Looks OK to me, esp since I have no other ideas. http://www.biaggis.com/ Are reservations at 6 ok with everyone? Karen we missed you Sat. Sorry about your bad luck hunting! I'll watch the blog for a confirmation on meeting time Friday. Enjoy the taper and don't forget to carbo load! Jeri
Guess it's time to make definite plans for tomorrow. I would be glad to drive the Prius but it may not be super comfortable for 5 with luggage. Jean, are you okay with taking your car again? We can take care of your gas.
Jeri - did you make those reservations? If not, just read an email from Karen Buckwalter that she has some we could get at 5:30 at Menneci's. Need to let her know soon. . . I'm not sure how far away we are staying as I know Jean had to call a lot of places for hotel reservations.
I am planning on driving. Thought I would pick Cheryl up at 9:30, Cindy after her and then meet Jeri and Karen at the church in Hull (10 ish?). Karen Buckwalter has our dinner reservations made for 6:00 so we are set there. Are we all wearing our HRRC shirts to the expo? I have not behaved myself this week, but am going to start hydrating and carbo loading today! I just plan on enjoying the run - unless its raining. That won't be too enjoyable, but better than 80 and humid, I guess. Angie, we are all going to miss you! J
Jean-thanks for driving. Will contribute to cost of gas for sure. The plus to wearing yellow shirt is others from Heartland will be able to pick us out in a crowd but I am find either way. Thinking about taking a couple of garbage bags to keep me dry if it is raining while waiting for the race to begin unless I find an old raincoat that is a candidate for a throw away. I don't feel real motivated tonight. Got some things together last night. Now where did we put the luggage????
Good idea Cindy about packing trash bags. Think I will do the same. I understand the where did we put the luggage!! I will be in Hull around 9:45 in morning. Am nervous about running but excited about the trip. I will wear my Road Runner shirt if everyone else is. See you all in the morning!
Seems like it has taken me all night to pack but I think I'm ready. Garbage bags packed and some throw aways. Garmin is charging. HRRC shirt works for me. Will be ready at 9:30. Will miss you Angie. Hope it doesn't rain here for Madison's prom. Anxious to see pics of her and her dress!
Sorry I am so late in posting. I just finished the last homework for class and haven't started packing. Where is the extra hour of sleep I am supposed to get each night this week. Karen made reservations for us so we are good. 6 at a place in Urbana. I'll bring information. As usual I'll be the odd ball, my HRRC shirt was too big so I don't have it any more. Great idea about the garbage bags so will put some in. I am packing light since I have to take all my stuff in my drop bag. See everyone in Hull around 9:45 ish. I am off to pack and get that extra hour of sleep...not! Jeri
Angie-going to miss running with you tomorrow. Have a good time with Madison and prom. Glad it will be cool for the run but hope the sun comes out by the time you want to take prom photos.
