I'm up in the air on tomorrow. Kids are all coming in tonight so I'll see when I get to bed. I would only be going 8 and will need to leave right afterwards. Have a good weekend everyone. Leaving on Sunday for NC for the week. Hope to escape the heat and humidity.
Whoa Mike...that is impressive to me. Good luck. Looks like schedules/plans for tomorrow are all over the place so I think I'll run from home in the morning. I plan to be out of town next weekend barring something unplanned so it will be September before I catch up with everyone. Sorry I'll miss a pool day. Jean, enjoy your family. Cheryl, wish I was going to NC. I'll catch up with everyone in a couple weeks. Have a great weekend. JEri
I was planning on meeting you Cindy to start out, or somehow catch you midway, in your run. I really want to do my 2 no.stop tomorrow, id be happy to walk 2 or 3 after. any ideas?Angie
First few miles were not too bad but then the heat and humidity caused chafing where I have never had it before. Thanks to Nancy Ogle who ran the first 3 miles with me and believe it or not we somehow got off course but we weren't the only ones. Thanks to Angie who joined me at about mile 7 and we ran 2 miles together. WooHoo to Angie as she ran the 2 without stopping. Yeah. Back down week next week and not sure that I will be running Saturday morning.
Cindy, I had a lousy run yesterday so don't feel bad. Got dehydrated I guess and when I started weaving around the road I called it quits a mile early and had Dan pick me up with fresh water. Angie, that is great. Step by step! I'll watch for next weekend's plan as I might be able to run before I head out of town. It looks like it is going to be a scorcher this week so everyone be careful with your workouts.
Since I haven't really been running, I am going to go to Hannibal tomorrow to run with Angie. I really want to be running more, but slow and easy is what the doctor says. Hope to see everyone soon!
Sorry Jean won't be there tomorrow. My mom's birthday is this weekend and family in town. Tried to run this morning and did a lousy 7 miles-not sure I would call it a jog let alone a run. Just too hot for this girl who prefers the below 0 temps. Also want to thank everyone for their support this past month. Not sure if I got everyone a text today but once again it has been a tough week with Debbie's Dad being in the hospital on the same unit as Debbie. He began to really decline on Tuesday and died during the night. Debbie death was a month ago on this past Wednesday. So much sadness for this family. Her Dad was a kind and gentle soul and he was so sad about Debbie dying. Hoping our nephew's wedding can bring some happiness in this time of sorrow.
I am going to run from home tomorrow since I am leaving town later on. I can "sleep in" when I run from home. So Jean, looks like you can sleep in too! Looks like the weather will be brutal. Hopefully next weekend our schedules will collide again. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend everyone. Jeri

Talked to Mike yesterday and he said he was going to post something so we could follow his trek on Sunday.
Good luck Mike! Safe travels.

Jeri or Cindy...are either of you running tomorrow? I can run and have breakfast but don't want to get up at 5 if you 2 aren't going to be there!
