  • Does anyone know if you can sign up at the Expo, and what the hours of the expo are? I still don't know if I'm running Saturday. Struggled through 8 on Sunday, did 5 yesterday. Going to try to do 3 or 4 tonight. (nothing like waiting til the last week to start training, haha) Angie

  • Kroc Center from 3:00 - 8:00 on Friday. I'm sure you can sign up there or even in the morning before the race. Hope you'll be joining us Angie!

    Hey everyone... Thanks for all the support and messages earlier. It means a lot to have good friends that are with you through think and thin!!!

    Looking forward to seeing everyone at the race, so you better be there Angie!!! My shin has been acting up so my goal is to finish below 2hrs and still be moving good after the race. :)

  • Miss Angie-I am planning on seeing you Saturday-i would not be messing with your training program this late in the game as it seems to work just fine for you. Worried that it is going to be sunny and warm by our 8am start time. Cheryl-glad we ran through Riverview-sure don't understand why it is part of the training. thanks to Jean, Cheryl, and Karen for waiting on me last Saturday and not leaving me out there for roadkill. Sure was warm. See ya all saturday or maybe at the expo.

  • Angie and Karen, I looked at the Zombie run to you have to pick a wave start time. Looks like 11:30 is the 1st available. What did you guys register for? Jeri

  • Is anyone able to run tomorrow? I believe it is going to be hot, so that sucks. I ran more this past week than I ever did during training. Go figure!

  • Karen - I won't be running as we're headed down to NW Arkansas tomorrow am for Roger's niece's high school graduation party. Invitation came yesterday!?!

    I ran once this week mostly because it was so nice out. Finally got my bike out and rode one night too.

    When does Madison graduate, Angie? Congrats to her.

  • Madison graduated last night. I worked at the project graduation party last night from 1-5 am this morning- totally beat. Felt like I had just fallen asleep when my alarm went off to get Gabe up for school at 6:45! Tonight he is having 5 boys spend the night for his birthday, probably won't get any sleep tonight either. I DO plan on running however, it may be slow, all depends on how much shut eye I get tonight. Karen, I think it may only be you and I, I know Jean is out of town, Cindy said she would let us know in the morning if she is back. Do you want to run in Hannibal? How about 7am? Let's meet downtown at Java Jive and leave a car, and go from there. Angie (oh, let me know if this is okay with you!! Jeri, if you are interested, text or post!!)

  • Oh dear Lord, please remind me if I forget, to NEVER let Gabe invite 6 boys over for an overnite again, at least until they are 16 and don't want to talk to me.   • I don't know what's gotten into me- I've ran 4 days in a row. Almost feels like I'm training for something!! Well I made it through Madison's graduation and Gabe's birthday, bring on the summer. Jeri, Karen and I decided to run in Hannibal again next weekend, hope some of you in Quincy will join us.

  • Are we sure we want to start at 7 am for 9 miles (that's what we talked about).It's going to be hot! I'll be there at 7 unless there is a change of heart about stop time. Remember Twain on Main will be in Hannibal in the am. in cse anyone wants to wander through after we run. See you tomorrow. Jeri
