Hannibal Cannibal - 4th of July

  • WOW, I've never been the 1st to post. We had a hot run last Sunday. Good conditioning for the Cannibal...NOT! If anyone is interested in running the morning of the 4th let me know. I will be in town, not at work, and will run so it's more fun with others. I have no preference where or how far. Jeri

  • Hey Jean, 6:30 is fine with me. Any preference or do you want to wait and see if anyone else is interested? Cindy is out of town, Angie and Karen weren't sure, and I didn't see Cheryl last weekend. I'll keep checking. Jeri

  • I don't know what anyone else is planning, but I'm going to go ahead with my original plan of running cannibal route ONE more time tomorrow morning at 6:30 . I have too much going on later in the morning to come to Quincy. Let me know if you plan on meeting me, I will check in the morning before I leave. Angie

  • Good luck tomorrow to all who are running the Cannibal. Be careful and take it easy! I'm watching my two grandsons this weekend so will get my workout chasing a 2 1/2 yr old and a 9 month old. My running has been sporadic but hope to get back to Saturday runs with you soon.

  • Hope everyone had a good 4th and Hannibal Cannibal. We are going out of town tomorrow so I will miss the Saturday run again. I don't know when we'll ever all get together again - the following weekend Angie and Karen are running the St. Jude Run. Perhaps late in July!

  • I plan to run, and Gabe is going to be arriving back from his mission trip, we will be getting a 1/2 notice, so I think I will run in Hannibal if anyone would like to join me. He's been gone a week, and if I'm in Quincy when they call (we are expecting him anywhere from 9-12), I would feel like a total loser not to be there right away to see him. He's been in Colorado, and we have been redoing his room while he's away and I don't want Tom to get all the glory if I'm not around when he gets home!! So I will be running at 6:30 (ugh!) and attempting to do 9 miles, flat out and back so if anyone else is compelled to run with me-great! otherwise, I totally understand. Angie I will watch for other posts....

  • Angie - If you are going to do 9 miles and be done in time for Gabe's return, you had better get started earlier, just saying :)

  • I am shutting off my computer and plan to leave early in the am to run into Hannibal. I'll check before I leave or if no one will be at Tom and Huck at 6:30 text me so I can keep on running...or not ;). Jeri

  • My haul on my run this am was a golf ball for Gabe's collection and 7 cents. I now have $2.29!! Those socks are getting closer and closer! Angie
