Headed to St. Louis tomorrow for the ball game and staying over so will not be running on Saturday.
Roger's mom and dad both fell the Friday before we were leaving for NC on Sunday. Had them both in the ER that night. His dad fractured his hip, had surgery, and just got back to the Vet's Home for good on Labor Day. Needless to say, our vacation never happened. It was really hard to have to go to work instead. . . Hope to catch you on the 14th.
Cheryl, what a disappointment! I know how I look forward to getting away. Do you have plans to go this fall? Is anyone running tomorrow? I would like to do 7 or 8, but need to start early with this humidity and heat. I haven't been running as much with cross-fit so that will be plenty for me. I am able to register for Boston this Wednesday, and if I get in, I'll really need to rev up the training. Hopefully we'll have some cooler weather soon and the runs will be more enjoyable! I miss seeing everyone.
I am in for 2 1/2!!, I will show up somewhere at the tail end of your route. I would like to run not much after 7, it gets so humid. you guys post what your doing and your route, and I'll let you know my plan, Angie
I'd rather do the river road with heartland since it's going to be so hot. But Jeri, I can't keep up with you in this heat. You'll have to just go ahead when I start lagging. Will this work ok for you Angie? Cindy and Karen...what about you? I'll plan on being there at 6 tomorrow.
river road works for me, flat is good! I may park by one of those bars on r.rd. and then just start heading back into town, (if someone will give me a lift to my car after breakfast! ), I think there is one about 2 1/2-3 miles out from the pier. I'm going to drive it while Gabe is at karate. that way I might see you guys eventually
River road it is at 6. Angle I'll gladly give you a ride back to your car. Cindy has a wedding and the baby is in town - with her parents of course so don't think she is running. See you in the morning
Been a busy week. I did run 12 on Labor Day and then ran on Thursday and Friday morning. We have spent time with Kent family and Debbie's family. Debbie's brother and his children are here from Ohio. Kent and his brother grew up in the same neighborhood as Debbie's family so they have been close for many years. Matt and Melissa and baby arrived this morning and she has changed so much since we last saw her. Our house is far from child proof so busy day of chasing her around as she crawls at warp speed. Matt and Melissa were tired from driving all night. Baby Emmalee will sleep in our room tonight so grandma can get up with her in the morning. Still have things to do to get ready for wedding so will have to pass on running in town. Tyler arrived in the afternoon. Have a good run in the morning. We head out for Colorado next Friday night so will miss the next 2 weekend of runs. I don't think my half marathon will be too good but the summer has just ended up being more busy with family things than expected. PS we had my mom's birthday party and feared she ended up in the hospital but just for observation and discharged the next day. Cheryl-hope roger's parents are doing ok. Disappointing about your trip.

7-8 is fine with me tho I am tiring of the river road route. Jean do you want you want to run with heartland starting at 6 or something different?
