It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

  • I think I will still be able to run in the morning, but would prefer Hannibal. Madison's best friend at college's dad was killed in a car accident last night and his visitation is tomorrow starting at 2 down near St. Louis. Right now, am still planning on running tomorrow early, and probably only 5 or 6. Any takers? will not be back in town to run on Sunday. Angie

  • I will come to Hannibal to run in morning. Name the time and place. 5 or 6 is good with me. That is horrible about Madison's friends dad. Was it the weather?

  • Angie, so sorry to hear about Madison's friend. That is so hard for kids. From thre looks of things looks like no runners in the morning (Sunday). However, I'll check before I go to bed just in case someone wants to get another run in. Ran 12 this morning with Jess - beautiful trail between the I & M Canal and the Des Plains River. Hope your run was as good. Merry Christmas to all!Jeri

  • I managed to get a run in today in spite of everything I should have been doing! I think it made me more productive though. Don't forget the Frozen Buns Run...it's only $20 if you register by the end of the year.
I hope you all have a joyous Christmas. I'm looking forward to running with all of you in 2013!

  • Merry Christmas to everyone. Having a cup of coffee by the fire before getting things ready for the day. Baby Emmalee is on the way and less than 2 hours away. I have told Kent NanaLou gets to hold her first and he is like you have to share her. We will see. Enjoy your day whether it is one of hustle and bustle or a quiet one. Many thanks to Jeri as we got to leave work early and yes there was work to be done at home as Kent and Tyler had gone to the Hobbit.

The prices on this list are from the internet but I think they are really low. We probably need to decide how many rooms we want and get rooms reserved. Hope to see everyone on Saturday. JEri

  • I am signed up for the Frozen Buns. Angie-will drop off t-shirt this week. Planning on running Saturday. Sounds like it is going to get very cold this week-may be treadmill but better than not running at all. Finally went back to spinclass this morning.

  • Hampton sounds good especially if you are familiar with driving from their Jeri. Karen and I are good to room together, or really with anyone for that matter. Cheryl are you still going with us?

By Anonymous Anonymous, At December 30, 2012 at 10:52 PM

  • Believe it or not, I'm registered! Will plan to get my shirt to you on Wednesday Angie.

  • Will everyone be running Saturday morning so we can finalize hotel plans? One thing to consider is parking for the race. It may be crazy so we can decide if we want to spend a little extra on hotel and have it easy or save a little and deal with parking!
